Are you part of a community group or charity that works with families or runs social services? Applications for the next round of Tindall Foundation funding for Taranaki organisations close on 28 February.
Responsibility for allocating funding of around $40,000 per year under the Tindall Foundation’s Supporting Families and Social Services programme is overseen by Te Karaka Foundation.
“The Tindall Foundation utilises our team’s local knowledge and expertise to allocate funding under this programme,” says Te Karaka Foundation Chair Ken Horner.
Past recipients of the Tindall Foundation funding in Taranaki include: Central Taranaki Blue Light Ventures, Pregnancy Help Taranaki Inc., Hawera Budget Advisory Service, Taranaki Toy Library, New Plymouth Positive Ageing Trust, On The House, New Plymouth Emergency Shelter, City Life cooking classes, Budget Advisory Services, the Women’s Centre and START Taranaki.
The specific areas targeted under the Tindall Foundation’s supporting families and social services programme include: Early Years, Youth Development, Māori, Migrant, Refugees and Cross Cultural, Housing, Literacy and Numeracy, Budgeting and Community Services and Development.
